Welcome To Nirmala Rani School

Nirmala Rani High School began as a middle school in 1956 and was upgraded into a High school in 1963. It is run by the congregation of the sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny. This congregation was founded by blessed Anne Marie Javouvey in 1807 in France. The Congregation is registered under Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960 with Reg. No. 198/76-77.

Nirmala Rani high School is a minority institution. The School is Conducted mainly to give Catholic Education to catholic pupils, nevertheless the school is open to all

without distinction of Caste or Creed. Catholic pupils are given religious instruction. Moral instruction is compulsory for all the other students. At the end of each term there will be an examination in moral science and religious instruction. Through religious and moral education we try to inculcate in the students strong moral values and attitudes which in turn will help to form future women of sound character. So our aim is to give to the students an all-round development, Spiritual, Moral Academic & Social.

Pupils are divided into four houses: St.Joseph’s , St.Mary’s, St.Savio’s and St. Goretti’s.
