Disciplinary Regulations

1. The working day is divided into two sessions; the morning session from 8.45 a.m. to 12.05 p.m. and the afternoon session from 12.45 p.m. to 3.l5pm

2. The warning bell is rung 15 minutes before beginning of the morning and the afternoon sessions. Pupils should stand in straight lines according to class in front of the school in the compound and join in the common prayer, after which they will walk in silence to their respective classes, stand in their places and wait in silence for their teachers to come.

3. Every pupil must salute the teachers on their

first meeting them for the day within the school premises.

4. No pupil is allowed to leave the class room without the permission of the teacher or until the class is dismissed.

5. No pupil will be admitted to class after being absent, without a proper explanation by parent/guardian.

6. Continued absence without leave for a week shall be considered equivalent to the withdrawal of a pupil from school and her name shall be struck off the register.

7. Special notice will be taken of absence without leave from class tests and examinations and also at the reopening of the school after the holidays. in case of illness a medical certificate will be required immediately.

8. A pupil absent without leave during any one hour of either sessìon of the day shall be regarded as absent for half a day

9. Irregular attendance, habitual disobedience, in attention to school work, misbehaviour, bad language or breach of school rules are sufficteflt reisofls for fine,suspension or dismissal of pupils.

10. The school does not hold itself responsible for the conduct of its students outside its premises. It take cognizance of any serious misconduct committed outside its precincts and shoutd any serious charge be fairly substantiate the pupils will be punished according to the gravity of the offence.

11. Progress Report will be sent out periodically to be gone through carefully by parents or guardians and duty signed and the same should be returned within three days of their issue.

12. Books, tiffins, bags, umbrellas, etc., should bear the mark of the owner. All stray and unclaimed property should be brought to the school office.

13. Any letters to pupils, addressed to school are subject to scrutiny by the Headmistress.

14. No collection for any purpose may be made in the school without the approval of the Headmistress

15. Letters officially addressed to the Headmistress should enclose rep1y postage if reply is desired.
